UK seller h3nd12y, offers a 500GB usb flash drive for only £37.99. It is the best price available on the internet. It is a very small usb flash drive too.
Some may find it hard to believe the low price. h3nd12y has tested it!

As we all know in the FrankenFlash Project, relying on a report from an operating system is not proof of true capacity. In fact, I and others in the technical team can make a small usb flash drive appear to be much larger in size. We have done repeated tests, with software we can not reveal.

is really only 2GB. It was advertised as 8GB. When it was opened, we found a 2GB quality control sticker. It was not 8GB! What sizes did we make it appear to operating systems?

We also were able to change the usb flash drive chip from 2GB to 1.5 Terabytes, but in reloading it blew the old PC we were using in testing (PII machine).
The fact is, if you know the secrets (yes we know quite a few of them, thanks to information received from China and others), you can make some usb flash drives appear any size you like!!!!!!!!!!!
h3nd12y is a very foolish eBay seller who has not bothered to do his homework on the costs of usb flash drives. Sellers like him will cause a lot of harm to buyers. Buyers will not just lose money but their data files.
No one as of 20091217 offers a usb flash drive at 500GB capacity. The largest size currently is 256GB and it is expensive. If you wish pay little then eBay is the best place. It is not safe. It is the place you go to, to bid and buy for inexpensive flash memory products so you can lose your data.
If members of the FrankenFlash Project can change the reported size for usb flash drives (no we will not tell you how, just yet), then others can too provided they know what to do.
Always test any flash memory products purchased on eBay. MP3 MP4 players, memory cards and usb flash drive pen sticks before you use them.

Your only protection is to use the H2testw program for testing. Never use a flash memory item such as an MP3 MP4 Player, memory card or usb flash drive purchased on eBay until you have performed testing for the actual capacity! Failure to test will lead to data loss. 85% to 95% of all flash memory items sold on eBay are fakes – false capacity!

Yes I have seen a usb pen drive with unbelievable speed and memory, It’s has an amaging speed and storage capacity of 5tb… Yes it’s true… But the machine would have to play that one in a sense with power… Highest powerful machine can read this pen drive only… It has been proved in the university of cambridre… Nothing is impossible…

😆 😯 Yes. One of the tests was 1.5TB. Some usb controller flash memory chips allow for any size. They are no longer used by brand name manufacturers. They are in demand by companies who upgrade flash memory storage chips. In the example above, a 2GB flash memory chip was “upgraded” to appear 256GB. Upgraded = Hacked.
An interesting way to recycle flash memory chip sizes not in demand (2GB, 4GB, 8GB).
